PETER FONDA AND GINA GERSHON AT L.A. ITALIA TO ANNOUNCE ISCHIA GLOBAL FILM & MUSIC FEST 2009. “IT WILL BE THE WORLD CINEMATIC EVENT OF THE SUMMER 2009” DECLARES THE CHAIRMAN PAUL HAGGIS LOS ANGELES 18/02/09 - Red carpet and stars parade in a Hollywood for the presentation of the seventh edition of Ischia Global Film & Music Fest: to host the event, the Oscar-recipient screenwriter and film director Paul Haggis, who will be the chairman of the event produced by Pascal Vicedomini, together with the co-chairs Tony Renis, Franco Nero and Marina Cicogna, gathered at the Italian Cinema Lounge Trastevere where they welcomed all the guests of Los Angeles, Italia Film Fest and many other American and Italian stars including Gina Gershon and Peter Fonda with Sofia Milos, Moran Atias, Daniel Mc Vicar, Pupi Avati, Marco Pontecorvo, Pappi Corsicato, Maria Sole Tognazzi, Simona Ventura, Christian de Sica and his son Brando, Adriano Giannini and Gisella Marengo. The Seventh Ischia Global Fest will be held from July 12th to 19th 2009 in one of the most enchanting places on the Green Island and will be dedicated to South Africa. Chairman of the most highly anticipated cinematic event of the summer will be once again Paul Haggis, Oscar winner in 2006 for "Crash". The Festival is promoted by the Accademia Internazionale Arte Ischia (chaired by Giancarlo Carriero) with the support of the Tourism and Culture Department of Campania Region and the Cinema Department of the Italian Ministry for Cultural and Artistic Heritage. During the evening at the Trastevere, after a dinner featuring all the best specialties and products from Campania, a very successful performance of showman Guido Lembo accompanied by his band from Anema e Core.
