ITALY’S OSCAR ENTRY TO BE INTRODUCED IN AMERICA

Island of Capri, Italy - January 18, 2006 - Producer Riccardo Tozzi and director Cristina
Comencini has been introducing the film "Don’t Tell" to the Palm Springs International Film Festival in California, and has been attending a special screening at the Italian Institute of Culture in Los Angeles before the final Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences screening of the Italian work competing for the Oscar for best foreign language film.

”We hope to compete well in the race,” declared Tozzi. “But, we were
the last to name our final entry, and winning would be a miracle. It seems to me the most authoritative candidate for the Oscar in our category is the South African film Tsotsi, which has already been acclaimed at the festival in Berlin. It also has had more time to solidify its candidacy. But we will continue to hope and fight until the end,'' Tozzi said at the final conference of the Capri, Hollywood - Kimbo International Film Festival in Italy.

At the Capri festival, veteran actor Max Von Sydow and movie directors Terry Gillliam and Michael Radford presented the 2005 Capri Kimbo Award for Best Italian Film of the Year to producer Tozzi. “To receive praise from three true legends of the international cinema has been an incredible experience,’” said Tozzi. “We hope this helps our efforts in America, where the foreign films are being considered.”

The 10th anniversary edition of Capri, Hollywood closed Monday January 2nd. The festival was promoted with the support of the Italian Ministry for Assets and Cultural Activities, and the Campania Region of Italy, in collaboration with Cinecittà Holding, RAI Trade, Kimbo Coffee, Lete Mineral Water, and Harmont & Blaine, with the sponsorship of the Chamber of Commerce of Naples and of the Lazio Region of Italy, along with the city of Capri and the community of Anacapri.
